Castle Apartment is a great home base for independent travel on a Scottish vacation. The warm and comfortable interior has been completely modernised this year including full gas central heating and a brand new kitchen. Castle Apartment is in Edinburgh's Grassmarket, an area full of history. This large open square was the scene of public hangings, the Porteous Riots and the haunt of the notorious body snatchers, Burke and Hare.
The Castle Apartment bedroom has a quiet, calm ambience and is situated at the back of the flat.
The enormous double bed (American Emperor size) can be easily split into two full-width singles if required. Small children and babies are welcome with a crib available on request.

The Castle Apartment living room has a couch that transforms simply into a double bed with a good mattress and proper support. All bedding is provided. The living room floor has a new laminate surface and a frosted glass coffee table and additional chairs. From this second floor window there is a superb close-up view of Edinburgh Castle across the road.
Home comforts such as radio, CD player and freeview digital TV & DVD are provided. There are books and reading material for the visitor to Scotland. Games and toys are also provided for younger children.

Normally bookings are from 4pm until 10am of the leaving day but let us know what suits you and we will arrange something.
