Self Catering Chalet

This delightful, cosy, single storey holiday accommodation is self-contained. It is tucked beside 'Wingfold' - the home of Alice & James (who run it as a small B&B (one single room) and also run Ullapool Tours).

A perfect romantic getaway for active people, who like to explore the North-West Coast of Scotland by day, have a cosy dinner in or eating out in one of Ullapool's many pubs, cafes or restaurants (6 min slow walk to 'the centre').

The Beach Hut has its own separate access and private outside sitting area; as well as shared use of the enclosed back garden and Wingfolds front garden, with its picturesque views over the Atlantic, the Summer Isles, the golf course and Ullapool River.

The main room includes the comfy sofa-double-bed (high resilience foam and latex mattress moulds itself to the shape of your body) for relaxing sofa times during the day and restful nights, the new Freeview-Satellite-TV with DVD player, a CD Micro System, where you can plug in your own iPhone, listen to radio or the choice of our CDs. There is an electric fire for romantic evening hours and a very big built-in wardrobe.

The fully equipped galley kitchen provides:

Tea/coffee facilities (Nescafe and a choice of different teas/herb teas for your first welcome), a spice rack as well as sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar and oil. Dish-, hand- and kitchen towels, sponges, napkins, bin liners, tea lights, brush and dustpan, vacuum cleaner, iron, first aid kit, pegs, torch.

A fridge with freezer compartment, small oven, 2 Plate hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiére, a good choice of pots, dishes & cutlery for 2 and a kitchen sink.

There is also the shower and a hand basin, the toilet room is separate.

The 'dining area' has a small table, 2 chairs and is overlooking the enclosed back garden.

The Beach Hut is heated electrically. All electricity is in the price included. Well-behaved pets are welcome (small surcharges applies)!
