Alloway Retreat is an all on one level bungalow; it has 3 luxury bedrooms (2 with en-suites), a luxury family bathroom and WC. There are 2 main living areas featuring living flame gas fires and deep sofas which create a warm and inviting ambience, ideal for reading, listening to music or catching up on your days activities.

Complimented with LED screen TV's with Freeview and Blu-ray DVD players (DVD library); Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the house. The patio doors open onto the enclosed garden with garden furniture, BBQ and parasol, great for evening entertaining, drinks, bbq and sunbathing.

The open planned dining kitchen (with separate laundry room) is fully equipped with top of the range modern appliances, and features an open planned design which allows the cook to cook whilst entertaining or the guests to entertain the cook whilst a sumptuous meal is prepared. For dining there is a solid oak dining table with six high back leather chairs, a high chair is also available for any little ones on their holiday. It is ideally located in the picturesque village of Alloway, the historic birth place of Scotland’s National poet Robert Burns.

Alloway Retreat is the ideal venue for a group of friends who enjoy golfing, hill walking, cycling, or may be attending wedding celebrations at the Brig O Doon House Hotel. An exquisite house for any family gathering, whether it be special birthdays, anniversaries, or just looking to relax, unwind and take pleasure in Burns country.

Alloway Retreat is superbly located as it is only a 10 minute walk (one minute drive) to Alloway village, where you can be embroiled in all that is Burns: Burns Cottage, museum, ‘Alloway’s auld haunted Kirk’ and the famous humped-back bridge (Brig O Doon) over where Tam O Shanter had to flee for his life, and the Tam O Shanter Experience centre. A one minute drive takes you to the Brig O Doon House Hotel which is Scotland’s premiere wedding venue and one of Ayrshire’s finest restaurants. Just a short stroll from Alloway Retreat, past the River Doon you arrive at Ayrshire’s spectacular coastline and beach, with breath taking views of Isle of Arran. One mile along Ayr’s promenade takes you into Ayr’s town centre, where the choice of bistro bars, restaurants and shopping is endless.

Bellisle/Seafield golf course sits proudly within the magnificent grounds of Bellisle Estate in Ayr and offers an attractive and challenging game of golf, both courses within walking distance from Alloway Retreat. Many of Ayrshire’s world renowned golf courses (Royal Troon, Turnberry) are a short drive from Alloway, making Alloway Retreat an ideal base for golfers.
