Higher Mullacott Farm Holiday Cottages

Higher Mullacott offers two cottages tastefully converted from historic barns. Aggies Cottage sleeps 2-6 and Dolly's sleeps 6-11. The 17th century farmhouse, is available for 8 weeks during July and August. The Farmhouse and cottages located around a sheltered, picturesque courtyard.

Aggie’s Cottage, once the old stables, retains many of its original architectural features and furnished with stylish modern home comforts. It has two double and 1 twin bedrooms with sea views and a large open plan kitchen, dining, lounge area fully equipped to prepare big breakfasts and banquets.

Dolly's Barn is just the ticket for large or dual family groups or for celebrations with friends, sleeping 11 plus cot. Like Aggies, it oozes character with sloping ceilings, beams and stone walls. It is suitable for people with disabilities having a ground floor bedroom with en-suite ‘wet room’.

Both cottages enjoy additional access to 3.5 acres of lawned gardens with lovely views across rolling Devon farmland to the coast. If relaxing and picnicing in the gardens is not enough, guests can enjoy a range of facilities such as:

Families with younger children will adore the two rabbits - Shabba and Marley (who both welcome guests bearing the odd carrot or two!), 4 chickens and 5 ducks on a small pond (which has been fenced off to make it safe for smaller children). Every day fresh eggs are collected and included in your welcome pack - (provided the hens are laying!)

There's more adventure within easy reach including three golf courses within 4 miles. The local stables offer horse riding, while quad biking paintballing experiences can also be enjoyed nearby. Tennis courts, a swimming pool, pitch and putt and sea fishing trips can be found in Ilfracombe Town Centre.

For a spot of local retail therapy, the larger historical market town of Barnstaple is just 12 miles away. Butchers Row and its Panier Market are highly recommended.
