Penyrallt Fach Cottage, Teifi Valley, West Wales

Penyrallt Fach is a Grade 2 listed former Victorian piggery that has been converted into a very comfortable cottage of great character situated on an historic traditional Welsh farm.

It is decorated throughout with palette of bold warm colours and much of the furniture has been made by the owners using timber harvested from the woods on the farm.

In the fully-equipped kitchen/dining/sitting room there is a farmhouse table with seating for 4, a comfortable sofa & easy chairs for relaxing by the wood-burning stove after days on the beach or up in the hills.

There is tv, a digital radio with iPod dock, dvd player with a large selection of dvds & many books & board-games.

On arrival guests will find a small welcome basket of of organic & fair-trade items, a freshly baked cake & flowers from the garden on the table.

The two bedrooms, a double & a twin, are simply & attractively furnished and the beds are provided with duvets & beautiful locally woven Welsh wool blankets.

The bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower, wash-basin & lavatory, heated towel-rail & washing-machine.

The water supply for the cottage & farm comes from pure natural springs on the farm.

Logs for the wood-burner, electricity, bedlinen & towels are included in the price.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £10 per dog (max. 2 dogs).

The cottage is an ideal base from which to discover the glories of West Wales. There are many ancient sites, castles and historic small towns & villages to visit.

The Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion Coast Paths are within easy reach and the Berwyn & Cambrian mountains are only a short drive away.

The farm is a member of the Soil Association Open Farm Network & visitors are welcome to request a guided farm walk, free of charge, to see the dairy cows, the woods & fields.
