We are a family owned and run complex of 17 self-catering holiday cottages and apartments set in 10 acres of grounds with outstanding views over unspoilt North Devon countryside. Although, no longer a working farm you will still wake to the sound of birds, cattle and sheep in the surrounding fields.

We are based in Woolsery, which is 12 miles north of Bude in Cornwall, 11 miles south of Westward Ho and 8 miles south of Bideford in Devon, and only 4 miles inland from the famous fishing town of Clovelly.

The place is perfect for families with its excellent on-site facilities, including our own bar and restaurant, and plenty of outside space for children - and adults - to play.

It is also ideal for couples with one-bedroom apartments situated in a quiet part of the complex, but within easy access of all facilities.

So if you are looking for rural tranquillity in a friendly and informal atmosphere, but also want the sort of facilities that holiday parks have to offer, then Moorhead Country Holidays will be perfect for you.

The apartments/cottages sleep between 2 - 6 people:

-We have three cottages/apartments with 3 bedrooms. All have one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms. They have an open plan living room, with dining area and kitchen and patio doors leading onto a private patio area with picnic bench. All have wonderful countryside views.

Price per week ranges from £350 in winter to £1025 in summer school holidays

-There are nine 2 bedroom cottages/apartments, sleeping 3 or 4 people and ranging from the functional to the more luxurious.

Price per week ranges from £230 in winter to £775 in summer school holidays

- there are 5 one-bedroom apartments. They are particularly designed for couples and for this reason children under age 10 are not accepted in these apartments. They are situated in a quiet part of the complex but close to all the facilities.

Price per week ranges from £190 in the winter to £450 in the summer school holidays

We do short breaks and are flexible on start dates and duration (except during school holidays)
