Bay Tree Barn is a beautifully furnished, cosy mountain top retreat with Incredible Views in the heart of the stunning Carmarthenshire countryside. At the edge of the Brechfa Forest and at 1000 feet, it boasts unrivalled views of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion and is perfectly placed to explore the delights of these 3 counties.

We are totally Dog Friendly. With plenty of Walking from the door, along forest trails and with West Wales offering over 260 miles of coastal paths you will never run out of places to ramble. The nearby River Teifi is one of the best trout Fishing rivers in Wales.

For Mountain Bikers the Brechfa Forest Trails are world renowned and almost unlimited fire tracks start opposite the barn entrance. The location also makes us a great base for a tour of the Welsh trail centres.

The Brecon Beacons are just a short drive away and there are plenty of popular Attractions nearby including Aberglasney House and Gardens, Carreg Cennan Castle, Oakwood Theme Park, The National Botanical Garden of Wales and many more. There are a selection of lovely Pubs and restaurants nearby and we also offer a mouth-watering menu of Home Made Meals.

Bay Tree Barn is Single Storey and sleeps 4 (&2) in one double bedroom and one twin bedroom (& sofa bed). The bathroom has an electric shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail. The kitchen has a cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. The living room has a Woodburning Stove, satellite TV & DVD, music system and WiFi as well as two leather sofas (one is a sofa bed), an armchair and Countryside Views. The dining area has a table with seating for 6.

Outside there is an Enclosed Garden with garden furniture, barbeque and chiminea. There is ample Parking right outside, bike wash and secure storage.

Linen, towels, tea towels and dog towels are included. Heating, electricity, a welcome hamper and a basket of logs are included in the price. Further logs are available at £5 per basket. DOGS are VERY WELCOME and there is No Limit On Numbers! Pets are charged at £15 each per week (£10 each per short break).

Optional Extras: fabulous home-cooked meals, packed lunches and picnics, mountain bike guide, bike hire, child minding, dog sitting, additional logs.

Short breaks £60 per night low season, £70 per night mid season. Last minute short breaks may be available at other times (prices on request). All short break bookings are for a minimum of 2 nights.

B&B from £25 per person based on 2 sharing either a twin or double room (shared bathroom and lounge). Full Welsh breakfast plus toast & jam, cereal, tea, coffee and orange juice (min 2 nights).

Dogs £15 each per week (£10 each per short break)
