Beachscape, Bacton, Norfolk Coast, pet friendly

Beachscape is a contemporary cottage, newly refurbished and only in its second season of renting.

It is on the North Norfolk coast, in a small village called Bacton, based in a peaceful holiday park, with views overlooking the sea. There is direct access to the beach just yards away and miles of coastline on your doorstep to walk. The park is pet friendly with 13 acres of grassland and there is a small childrens playground on site.

The cottage is well equipped and sleeps up to 4 people. You enter the property into a large open plan lounge/diner/kitchen, which has two sofas, dining table plus four chairs, a large flat screen LCD TV with Freeview, a CD player/ipod dock and a DVD player.

The kitchen has a hob, built in oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is an inner hall to store shoes and coats, which leads to the two bedrooms and bathroom. There is a double room with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside drawers. The twin room also has a wardrobe and bedside drawers. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, with toilet, sink and heated towel rail. There are radiators in the property for the cooler months.

Bedlinen and electricity are included in the rental but please bring your own towels. There is wi-fi access available at cost on-site.

There is a small decked area, with patio table and chairs, at the front of the property which has a gate to keep dogs and small children safe. The cottage is a non smoking property. There is parking space for one or two cars. There is on site management for any problems or help required.

There is a small shop/newsagent in the village for your immediate needs. You will also find a fish and chip shop, two cafes, two pubs, one serving a wonderful carvery on a Sunday, an amusement arcade and a seaside gift shop open in peak season.

A short walk along the sea front (approx 15 mins) brings you to a fabulous cafe - serving wonderful all day breakfasts, lunches and even cream teas! Nearby is another fish and chip shop, a post office within a mini market and a cash machine.

There is much to explore using the cottage as a base, with the Norfolk Broads close by, Cromer pier with its famous end of the pier theatre, Happisburgh lighthouse, Stow Windmill, numerous stately homes, childrens parks and more. The area is also wonderful for walking, fishing, bird watching and watching the occasional seal bobbing in the waves!

Weekly bookings with a Mon or Fri changeover, Sat in July/Aug or short breaks available.
Short breaks are for 3/4 nights. Mon - Fri or Fri - Mon.
