The Oaks Self Catering Holiday Apartments

The Oaks is a lovely Victorian house set in a secluded garden backed by woodland. The enclosed garden forms a pleasant suntrap. Enjoy a barbecue there whilst you relax on holiday.

The house is situated in a residential area with Ryde Esplanade at the end of the road. The Esplanade is a wonderful place to watch passing liners, ferries and yachts with views of Portsmouth with the Spinnaker Tower in the distance. The holidaymaker can enjoy a host of things to do on the Esplanade as it has a Marina, ice rink, ten-pin bowling, boating lake, swimming pool, dotto train and bowling green. For the children there is Peter Pan's funfair, splash play area, Appley Adventure Playground and Puckpool Park.

Ryde town centre is within walking distance of The Oaks. Union Street has quality restaurants, bars , pubs and individual shops to leisurely explore whilst on holiday.

There are direct links from Ryde to Portsmouth and Southsea, so day visits to Portsmouth and Southsea, to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Gunwharf Quays shopping outlets with the Spinnaker Tower, the D-Day Museum and Blue Reef Aquarium can be included in the holiday.

The Oaks has been converted into one and two bedroom and studio holiday apartments to accommodate from 2 to 6 people.

The studio flat has double wall bed, kitchen area along one wall, bathroom with shower en-suite.

On the ground floor there is a 2 bedroom apartment - one bedroom with double bed, the second bedroom with double and bunk beds. There is a lounge with fitted kitchen area and bathroom with shower.

Looking onto the garden there is an apartment which sleeps upto 6 people.
The bedroom has a double bed. In the large lounge/bedroom there is a double wall bed and bunk beds. There is a separate kitchen. Bathroom with bath. The apartment has a patio with outdoor table and chairs.

At the front of the house on the first floor is a 2 bedroom apartment which has great views of Ryde and the sea. The main bedroom has a double and single bed, the second bedroom children's bunk beds. The large lounge has a dining alcove and fitted kitchen area. There is a bathroom with shower.

Overlooking the garden on the first floor there is an apartment for 3 people. The bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath. The lounge is 'L' shaped with curtained-off single bed, lounge seating area and fitted kitchen around the corner in the bottom of the 'L'.

Beds are made up for your arrival with cotton sheets and duvets.

Cots and highchairs are available.
