A very warm welcome to our beautiful self catering chalet (the red & black building) at Hushinish Beach on the incredible Isle of Harris.
We are located 15 miles from the ferry port of Tarbert on the B887, an interesting drive to the West coast with many stunning mountain viewpoints looking out to the Atlantic Ocean, drive past the old whaling station and through the grounds of Amhuinnsuidhe Castle, make sure to have your camera ready for the amazing views, watch for deer and laugh at the sheep or cows as they lazily get out of your way.

There are many activities right on our doorstep Hushinish Beach is simply breathtaking, watch for dolphins or otters, take a picnic with you or just play in the white sands, take in some of the fantastic hiking for all levels which will lead you to pristine remote beaches or climb Clisham the highest peak in the Western Isles at 799m (Corbett), cycling is very popular along our single track road, there is fishing to be found, kayaking sea or loch, rock climbing, golf & remote tennis courts.

Tarbert provides a wonderful pool, spa, sauna and fitness suit, two friendly hotel bars, the village also has three shops, filling station, library, tea room, and of course the Harris Tweed shop. We are a fantastic base from where you can take many day trips like the 50 mile circular drive of the Island which includes Rodel Church or drive North to the breathtaking Callanish Standing Stones. On your return enjoy an evening stroll and watch one of the amazing sunsets or relax and sit on the rocks across from the chalet with a wee dram of whisky and the ocean at your feet.

Creagach self catering chalet will be available starting week of March 27th 2010 after a complete refurbishment.
The chalet sleeps up to 5 in one double room, one twin room and a single room. It has a beautiful cozy living room with satellite tv, dvd player and games, best of all are the stunning ocean views. Fully equipped kitchen including electric cooker with oven/hob and microwave, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment. Bathroom with combined shower and bath, shaver point, hairdryer. Outside seating and bbq, secure outbuilding for storage of bikes, kayaks, windsurfers etc, rotary clothes dryer, ample parking space, electricity and heaters by pound coin meter. No smoking inside, All bed linen and towels are provided, Pets welcome too, please don't hesitate to email us with any questions.

Rates are per week,

Saturday to Saturday, Check in from 5pm - Vacate chalet by 10am.

High Season March 27th 2010 to October 3oth 2010, also Christmas and new Year 450 pounds per week.
Low Season October 30th 2010 until March 26th 2011
295 pounds per week.
Short breaks may be available over low season, minimum 3 days please contact.
100 pound non refundable deposit required when booking, Balance payable 4 weeks prior to arrival.
