The Carriers Stable was built during early Victorian times as a stable that has now been converted into a beautiful detached holiday cottage (2003) to accommodate 2 adults and one small baby. In the centre of the village there is a local public house, a tea garden / restaurant and village shops, all within easy walking distance and a second pub is just outside the village (still within walking distance), both public houses have a restaurant facility.
The cottage itself has its bedroom located upstairs with a king size bed, ample cupboards, drawers and wardrobe space and an en-suite shower room with hand basin and toilet.
Downstairs there is an open plan layout with kitchen, dining room and lounge area containing a bed settee. French doors open out from the dining area onto a patio to a table with integral bench seats and supplied umbrella.
There are two other separate benches, one under the kitchen window and another under a tree, which is well shaded in the lawn area. The drive forks around two sides of the building with enough space to park four cars.
In total a delightful quiet country holiday experience. The cottage is well equipped so you shouldn't need to bring anything other than food etc, it is worth reading what past visitors have written.
