Holiday Chalet, California Sands, Nr Great Yarmouth

A fully equipped 2 bedroom Self Catering Holiday Chalet nr Great Yarmouth which sleeps 7. Close to sandy/shingle beach and local attractions.

We are owners of 4 chalets at California Sands. We have 2 adjoining chalets which are ideal for extended families or friends who like to holiday together.

Accommodation in the chalets consists of Lounge with FreeviewTV and DVD, a sofa bed which sleeps 2 and 2 armchairs, plus dining table and chairs. Kitchen with fridge, cooker and microwave. We also supply an iron, ironing board and hairdrier. 2 bedrooms - one with double bed, the other with a triple bed (single over double), both have wardrobes. All beds are made ready for your occupation. We do not supply towels and tea cloths. If required we have a travel cot and high chair.The Bathroom is full size with an over bath electric shower.
Heating, if needed, is by convector heaters.

There is a Clubhouse offering nightly entertainment and food and indoor heated swimming pool on site (Both with free admission). an amusement arcade, tenpin bowling, fish and chip shop (very tasty) small supermarket and restaurant are also on site.
All chalets are surrounded by a grass area, ideal for children to play on.
Pets are welcome (no charge). 2 small dogs, but check first.

Electricity is by £1 coin meter.
Hot water via immersion heater.
All bed linen is supplied but you need to bring your own towels and tea towels.
Travel cot and high chair are available (no charge).
Linen is not supplied for the cot.

Within easy reach is Great Yarmouth with its 5 miles of beaches, a busy port, Pleasure beach for the rides and Joyland for the youngsters, Swimming pool at the Marina Leisure centre, Amusement arcades, 2 Piers with live shows, Circus and Sea World, also Horse racing at Great Yarmouth Racecourse and Greyhound & Stock Car racing at Great Yarmouth Stadium

The Norfolk Broads offers River trips, Fishing and bird watching.
Norwich with its Cathedral, Norman Castle and shopping malls and city centre shopping is worth a visit.

There are two local Steam railway venues , one being the North Norfolk Railway at Sheringham and the other The Bure Valley Railway at Wroxham. Brochures for these and other places of interest can be found in the chalets.

The chalets are let on a weekly basis with prices ranging from £125 to £360 depending on season. The chalets are also available for short breaks but not in 'High Season'.
