Our 2 Bedroomed Gite/Villa Holiday rental is available all year. We are situated in the Lot et Garonne, but also within a short drive to the Dordogne region and the Gironde.

Immaculate inside with all new kitchen & bathroom fittings. Large garden with views over the vines and countryside, yet 2 minutes walk from the local boulangerie, restaurant, post office and convenience store. A lovely idylic and peaceful location. Ideal for families, couples, or even those house hunting in the area!! We are flexible in that you can rent our gite on a nightly to weekly basis.

Duras is our local Bastide town with it's own 13th century chateau, restaurants, cafes and bars, small boutiques offering gifts and clothing, pharmacy, butchers, etc.etc. There are lots of activities nearby, walking, cycling, wine-tasting, sightseeing, small lakes with beach areas, Tennis at St Sernin or Duras, and many chateaux to visit, Kayaking at Allemans du Dropt and other villages running alongside the Dordogne. Weather is much warmer than the UK. Summer months can see temperatures over 35°!! Sunloungers are available and outside dining with BBQ!! An out of ground plunge pool is also available.

Le Bonté is situated near to a small village with lovely surrounding views.

It can sleep 4 adults comfortably in the two main bedrooms, and a fifth person on the 3 seater sofa bed. We can also provide a child's travel cot, along with a child's high chair. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, Coffee maker, Kettle, oven & grill, ceramic 4 ring hob, toaster, microwave, cooker hood, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Plenty of cupboard space with all the necessary plates, dishes, cutlery needed along with cooking utensils.

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed with built in wardrobes offering lots of storage.
Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds with built in wardrobes offering lots of storage. We can also provide a travel cot if needed.
Bathroom is a full suite with bath, shower, toilet and sink. A storage cupboard with an abundance of towels and linen.

The dining area will seat 6 people comfortably.

The lounge has a new large three seater sofa/sofa bed, and two wicker chairs, a coffee table, TV, Satellite and DVD player. A bookcase with an abundance of books, and a CD/cassette/radio player. Internet service is available but only on your own lap top and USB WIFI.

This is a self catering holiday, but a continental breakfast can be available on request. Outside, there are two seating areas with views out onto the vineyards. There are two outdoor tables with 8 chairs altogether and parasol, along with 4 sun loungers. We have lots of outdoor toys and play equipment for children to play with!! Our Gite is a child friendly environment with plastic cups and plates, bath toys, indoor toys, along with childrens DVD's if they manage to get bored!

There is lots to do if you want, or you can relax & do nothing! There is a Plunge Pool outside for when those warm summer days!

We are a 10 minute drive from Duras, 35 minutes from Bergerac and 1 hour 15 minutes from Bordeaux Airport. We are a 10 minute car journey to the Gironde and Dordogne area. A short drive to the many splendid market towns of Duras, Eymet, Monsegur, Bergerac, Saint Emillion, Ste Foy la Grande, etc. Such places to visit and things to do...

The beautiful beaches of Archachon, Biscarosse are about 1 hour 40 minutes away.
There are many vineyards that offer free wine tasting. Our nearest is Grande Mayne.
Great walks in and around the area, along with good treks for cyclists.

Horseriding near at Duras and at La Reole
Great restaurants, including one in our village

Lakes with small man made beaches, childrens play equipment at St Sernin, Lou Gratte, and Pomport.

How to get here ..
Our nearest airport is Bergerac, Dordorgne. Flights from Stansted, East Midlands, Exeter, Southampton, Liverpool, Gatwick.
Bordeaux, Gironde is about an hour away. Flights from Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Luton, Bristol and Dublin.
Toulouse, Midi- Pyrenese is about 2 hours away. Flights from Gatwick, Manchester, Bristol, Dublin, Luton.

OR you can easily drive here from the UK or Eire...... from Calais or Boulogne, we are about 8 hours drive away south. Shorter distance if you sail to Le Havre for example.
