Ideally situated for the rail enthusiast or more discerning holidaymaker our holiday arena is trackside, and once formed part of, The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, a working heritage line with steam and diesel running days, steeped in history and character.

The Station Masters House - sleeps 8
A dream location for a holiday in the Lincolnshire Wolds, The Station Masters House, with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 large lounges, naturally lends itself to larger families, family reunions, or groups of friends looking for something special.
This stunning house, with spacious, airy rooms and classic country décor, has a real homely feel which exudes character and charm. Add to that the unique surroundings and you have a holiday home that fully deserves to be at the top of anyone's list.
The whole house is beautifully decorated throughout in complimentary colours and natural woods. The ground floor comprises a welcoming entrance porch, with useful space for coats and shoes. This leads into a large family lounge with comfy sofas, and an attractive open fireplace. A large picture window overlooks the garden and the Lincolnshire Wolds beyond.
The main lounge leads into a delightful sun lounge that doubles as a dining/family room. This wonderful room has a farmhouse table that comfortably seats eight. Patio doors open onto a secluded, private paved area with picnic tables, ideal for alfresco dining within the attractive garden.
The large kitchen is fully equipped with a range of country style units and modern appliances.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a further entrance door and hallway leading to a ground floor cloakroom with w.c. and good sized twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes.
The first floor has a further three excellent sized double bedrooms and a bathroom.
All the bedrooms have matching pine furniture providing ample storage space. Two of the bedrooms have bunk beds, while the master bedroom has a metal framed, four poster bed, with pretty voile drapes.
The family bathroom has been beautifully decorated with mosaic-style tiling and the large bath has an electric shower fitted overhead.
The delightful garden also provides access to the boiler room offering plenty of scope to hang up wet sailing or fishing gear on the many hooks and shelves. A secure, single garage is integral to the main house and is ideal for a car or for storing bicycles etc. There is also a separate wood store, always fully stocked with logs for use in the lounge fireplace.
The Railway Carriages - each sleeping 2 plus 2
Audrey, Cygnus and Ibis, our three wonderfully unique reproduction Railway Carriages, are romantically named after carriages on the Orient Express, made to our own design and unbelievable quality.
Centrally heated and double glazed throughout, these are the cosiest Carriages you could ever wish to stay in!
The interiors consist of a master bedroom and a bunk room, both with fitted furniture and ample storage, with a full length mirror, dressing table, hairdryer and TV in the double bedroom.
The power shower in the washroom will certainly wake you up in the morning!
The kitchen has everything you could wish for in a self-catering property: a full-sized cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and plenty of pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery.
The dining area seats four at a beautiful wooden table with matching leather chairs.
The living area is furnished with a large, comfortable leather corner suite and armchair with a flat-screen TV on the wall.
With barrelled ceilings and wooden flooring, warm décor, authentic railway-style light fittings and drapes of the highest quality, you have an ambience that money can't buy of quaint yet modern luxury.
Each Carriage is surrounded by self-enclosed decking with patio table and seating and all guests have use of our built-in Buchbecke BBQ, barbecue hut and picnic area.
You can hire one Carriage or all three for a break to suit anything from a romantic weekend away for 2 to a friends' reunion of up to 12 people.
You can even hire the whole arena with The Station Masters House and all three Carriages to suit family gatherings and larger parties of up to 22!!
