Dry Olive Homestay

Our two-storey rustic cottage was built just before Christmas (2007).
The luxuriously appointed cottage includes:

A full kitchen
A dining area and open plan living room
Three large double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom
Glorious views over our olive grove and the grapevines to the hills
A scrumptious continental breakfast

For those travelling with children we are 'family friendly' and can provide port-a-cot, highchair, playroom and trampoline. We can also organise a babysitter while you have some time out.

We will happily make reservations for you too, at some of our best local restaurants and vineyards, and we can help with drop offs and pick ups where possible.

We are two minutes from Blenheim township, at the top of the South Island, half an hour from Picton where the Interisland ferries operate to and from the North Island. We are 1.5 hours' drive from Nelson and 1.5 hours from Kaikoura.

Our climate makes Marlborough an attractive destination in any season with endless hot summer days and calm and mild winters.

Marlborough is home to some great local attractions with a superb Farmers Market, Wine Festival, Garden Marlborough Festival, and Easter Air Show with our Aviation Heritage Centre to name a few.

We are located close to the best of Marlborough's wineries near Lawson's Dry Hills and Montana. Also close by are the Wither Hills walking and biking tracks (bikes for hire), and we have access to a communal tennis and basketball court.

Our homestay accommodation is fully self-contained in the west wing of our house. It includes:

One queen room
One king or twin room
A shared bathroom
A kitchenette
A private lounge
A scrumptious continental breakfast

Relax in complete privacy in your lounge, or join us on the deck or in the large formal living room (which has an open double sided fireplace to warm you on those winter nights).
