Hike the Sleeping Giant for a fantastic view of the City or spend a day at Fort William Historical Park, a functioning replica of the Fur Trading post of the past, complete with canons and bread baked in the kilns. Canoes and Kayaks for rent in the area and many sandy swimming beaches.

Snowmobile trails, curling and hockey facilities abound nearby in Winter. Join in the snowshoe and ski races at Lappe Centre just 15 minutes away or downhill at any of the excellent area hills.

Located on a sunny 2 acre property with your own private BBQ deck and gazebo. Suite has all amenities, private 4 pce bath, phone, cable TV, movies, games and books. Internet hookup. Complete kitchen with MicroWave, coffee pot, tea kettle, dishes and cutlery to prepare your own favourite recipes - even the plant on the table to make you feel at home, Family friendly - sleeps up to 7,in a Queen size bed in the Amethyst Room, double and single beds in the Garden room and a pull out couch in the living area. Lovely too for a cozy weekend getaway for just you and your sweetie. Or gather the girls for a night away from the hustle and bustle.

Casino and beautiful marina straight down the street. Guest docking for your boat and many Islands in Lake Superior to cruise, or take a trip to Silver Islet - site of an early days silver mining operation. Sailboat races every Wednesday night in the Summer. Bring your sailboat and join the fun.
Book your Shag or Bridal shower with loads of room for all your guests to spend time with you and not have to drive home.

Travel 35 minutes east to the World's longest Swinging Bridge. Tour the local Museum, take the Ghost Walk, enjoy music festivals on the weekends in the park or just hang out and relax with family and friends. Feed the squirrels and chipmunks from your hand in our back yard or take advantage of great photographic experiences - capture the Blue Jays stealing peanuts from the table on the deck . Travel to Kakabeka Falls 20 mins. West of the Suite to feel the spray of the Niagara of the North.

Enjoy an afternoon tea with lunch and desserts in the on-site Tea Room. Shop in the on-site Gift shop with items from local crafters, artists and locally mined Amethyst, jewellery, inukshuks and candles. Take gifts home for everyone who couldn't make the trip with you.
AND last but certainly not least,
Wayne will happily take you to his secret spot to see deer in the wild and feed them the apples you bring.
