Clydesdale Cottage

This is a spacious 3 bedroomed bungalow comprising an open plan lounge/dining room, with a breakfast bar separating the kitchen and dining areas. It has a well-equipped fitted kitchen with electric cooker, halogen hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, washing machine/drier. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room. The family bathroom has bath and separate shower cubicle, wc and vanity unit.

There is ample parking to the rear of the bungalow, and a patio area to the front, with tables and chairs to relax and enjoy the views.

There is a ramp for disabled access at the rear of the property.

The Bull Pen

This is a one-bedroomed bungalow with a four poster bed. An additional bed could be provided for another person. It has a spacious open plan living room/dining area, with well-equipped fitted kitchen with electric kettle, DVD player, microwave, toaster, fridge with freezer box. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, vanity unit, and w.c.

There is ample parking to the rear of the bungalow, and a patio area to the front, with tables and chairs to relax and enjoy the views.

Accessibility: Graded Mobility 1.The cottages are recently renovated stone barn conversions, carefully restored to retain their character, set in the grounds of Hamsteels Hall. Each cottage has its own South facing patio area overlooking open countryside, and are only approx. 10 minutes drive (5 miles) from Durham City, with its amazing Cathedral and Castle, shopping centre, theatre, river, etc.

Ideally situated for touring Durham and Northumberland, and only a short drive from Diggerland and Beamish Open Air Museum, which is a main tourist attraction in this area.
