Lairig Vue Holiday Home

Lairig Vue is situated in a quiet cul de sac quite near the steam railway track. It has magnificent views of the Cairngorm Mountains and is a superb base for all kinds of outdoor pursuits and local tourist attractions.

There are so many sports available in the area - hiking / climbing / biking / fishing / skiing / /golf / clay pigeon shooting / pony trekking / water sports etc, as well as many places of interest eg. Osprey Centre / Highland Wildlife Park/ Landmark Adventure Centre and the Highland Folk Museum to name but a few, that there is always something to suite everyone, no matter what age!

The house has a washing machine, tumble drier, fridge /freezer, microwave and cooker, as well as everything required in the kitchen and more. There is a full bathroom and an extra toilet and sink. The living / dining area is very comfortable with a large dining table and chairs and there you will find an electric fire plus a coal/log fire, as well as the central heating (fuel is provided).

There are books and games and a TV / DVD player & DVDs. Outside there is a barbecue area with plenty of seating and a large table. The secure outside shed adjacent to the house is large enough to store any bikes/ skis etc. The back garden is a safe area for children to play and they will enjoy the steam train passing from time to time.

The house is very near Aviemore centre where many places to eat and drink are to be found. It is also just along the road from Dalfaber Golf and Country Club .The new McDonald Highland Resort has a lovely store to visit named ' Brands ' - if retail therapy is required!
There is also a swimming pool with flumes etc and it is possible to get a day membership.

Inverness is about 35 minutes away by car and here there is everything you would expect from an up and coming city, with plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops. The River setting makes it a very picturesque place to explore.
