Agriturismo Torre del Golfo

Torre del Golfo offers ospitality in 5 apartments with selfcatering equipment. Bed and Breakfast service is available on request. The apartments have different size, in detail we offer:

1 trilo for 4/6 persons, with 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, terrace, kitchen/dining room;
2 bilos for 2/4 persons, with 1 double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/dining room;
1 apartment for 8/9 persons, with 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 terraces, kitchen/dining room
1 mono for 2/3 persons, with 1 double bedroom, bathroom, fridge and small electrical cooker in room;

All apartments have tables and seats outside on the patio; climatization is available in all apartments though not in all rooms in larger apartments.

The apartments have a large garden in front of their entrance, where lemon trees and pomgranates offer their colour fruits and scents, with gazebo and seats to enjoy the shade in the sunny summer days, the garden is a natural playground for children, free to play football or other games.

The common room has a library, TV set with dvd player, cards and table games, and the bar where you can taste calabrian wines, and some of our local products: salami, cheeses, olives and vegetables.

Breakfast can be served in the common room or out on the patio.
Often we enjoy to offer barbecues with fish or meat and grilled vegetables and some local dishes like 'melanzane ripiene' (filled aubergines), 'parmigiana di zucchine', 'pasta china'.

From Torre del Golfo with a few minutes walk, trough the citrus plantation of the farm, you arrive to the beach that is characterized by his natural beauty.

The beach is of fine white sand, wide and never crowded even in high season, ideal for children and their games. Due to the wide space available, there is no problem even to bring dogs.

On windy days you can enjoy windsurf, board and sails are offer from Torre del Golfo.

There is even the chance to go horse riding along the pine wood next to the beach.

Torre del Golfo is in Cropani Marina, on the East Coast of Calabria the southest region of Italy, the nearest main town is Catanzaro.

How to get here:
By car: you have to get on the 106 Strada Statale (E90) that goes from Taranto to Reggio Calabria,
exit in the village of Cropani Marina following directions to 'Mare'.
By train: nearest station is Cropani train station, served mostly by local trains that start in Lamezia Terme, Catanzaro or Crotone, from train station we offer free transfer to Torre del Golfo.
By Airplain: nearest airports are Crotone (40 km) and Lamezia Terme (60 km),
Crotone is served by AirOne with connections to Rome and Milan.
Lamezia Terme International airport is better served, with several national and european flights.
Companies that fly there are: Ryan Air, Alitalia, AirOne, Air Berlin, Alpi Eagles, Volareweb;
Transfer from airports are available, cost depends on number of persons.
