The Chalet is located in the beautiful village of Stadl an der Mur in the Styrian region of Austria. Built to a high standard in a traditional style with, balcony, extended south facing terrace, Panorama Glazing and garden area.

Chalet Edelweiss has its own private sauna, perfect after a day on the slopes! Robes are provided. The chalet is on a select development with the use of a shared pool from spring 2008.

Stadl is positioned between the two skiing areas of Kreischberg (7 minutes) and Turracher (30 minutes) which combined offer nearly 70km of skiing; it is also only 45km from the Obertauern ski region which has 120km of pistes and at 1700m is also snow sure.

Stadl is within the Murtal region of Austria, which is a favoured holiday destination among young and old winter & summer sport enthusiasts. Picturesque, family-friendly ski villages, gorgeous mountain scenery, charming and genuine local traditions and, excellent Styrian food. In addition the area offers a range of winter and summer activities including, tobogganing, horse drawn sleigh rides, ice skating, curling swimming, tennis, walking, cycling, ski, golf, mountain biking.

You could not ask for a more perfect, sought after location. The house is set in typically Austrian tranquil surroundings and the stunning views through Panoramic Glazing or from the huge sun terrace over the open fields & mountains will guarantee privacy and leave you feeling relaxed during your stay. In the winter stunning snow-scapes and in the summer, miles of open mountain wild flower and butterfly filled walks! Beautiful cities are within reach, for the more adventurous the Italian and Slovenian borders are a 60 minute drive away with a trip to Venice being a 3 hour 30 minute drive.

Chalet Edelweiss is only 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Salzburg which you can fly to directly from Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Coventry, Dublin, London, Manchester and Southampton. Klagenfurt Airport is only 1 hour 20 mins away, flights are available with Ryanair from London Stansted and Manchester airports.
