Holly Cottage Loch Ness
Holly Cottage is set in the small village of Balnain, which is 4 miles from Drumnadrochit and 19 miles from Inverness.
The cottage is warm and very well equipped, sleeps 5 plus cot. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided free of charge.
A welcome pack awaits your arrival consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, fruit and a bottle of wine.
The cottage has a double room, also a room with 3 single beds, both of these upstairs. Ground floor kitchen fully equipped; cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc.
Separate dining room seats 6 with open fire, portable TV CD/radio.
Full sized bathroom with shower over the bath.
The lounge has full sized TV also DVD, CD players and a good selection of DVDs, books and games also garden games for the children.
The conservatory is a great place to sit and watch the wildlife or just relax with a good book and enjoy the peace and quiet. The large garden has a table, 4 chairs, parasol and garden bench to enjoy the peace and tranquillity you will experience here.
The cottage is ideally situated for fishing, walking, hill climbing, bird watching, touring e.g. Aviemore for skiing, Fort William for hill-climbing, Ben Nevis, Glen Affric for wild-life, Skye and Ullapool for magnificent scenery
Inverness airport is 22miles, we have 2 golf courses in Inverness. We now have a fantastic new theatre {Eden Court}. Inverness has many good restaurants, shopping areas, cinema, and roller bowl.
Places to visit in Drumnadrochit {4 miles}, variety of restaurants, gift shops, Urquhart castle, go Nessie hunting, horse riding, boat trips on Loch Ness, and perhaps catch a glimpse of Nessie the loch ness monster.
2 miles from the cottage is the Steading bar and restaurant great meals especially the Aberdeen Angus steaks done on the char grilles.

Absolutely the BEST vacation weve ever had. The location was perfect to explore Inverness, Glen Affric, and the Loch Ness area. Trips to Fort William, Isle of Skye, and Ullapool were easy to make in a day. The accomodation itself was so peaceful we hated to leave! Mrs. Healy was friendly and helpful- a genuinely nice lady as our boys called her. The Steading Bar is not far away and serves wonderful food and friendly service- would recommend the entire package to anyone! ...
