'Number 8' is a luxury 4-bedroom self-catering cottage, sleeping up to 6 people, situated in the centre of the dramatic Isle of Skye. Situated in Glen Drynoch, between the historic Sligachan Hotel and the Talisker Distillery in Carbost, 'Number 8' offers an ideal holiday base to explore this wonderful island.

Prices range from £250 to £595 per week, depending on the time of year. Weekend breaks considered during off-season.

Accommodation & Facilities

The view from the large picture window in the lounge offers a panorama of the Red Hills and main Cuillin Ridge - the major mountains on the island. Sit and relax looking at the view. The lounge includes SKY TV, DVD player, VCR and radio/cd/cassette player - there is a selection of videos and music cassettes. In addition there is a good stock of books and games.

The large well-equipped kitchen includes electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is a large dining table seating 6 to 8 people. The utility room contains a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The main bedroom has a king-size bed and ensuite facilities with power-shower. There are two single bedrooms and one twin bedroom. All bedrooms are spacious and have fitted wardrobes.

The family-sized bathroom has a deep, long bath for those luxurious soaks at the end of the day.

The house is wheelchair friendly - all on one level - with an access ramp for the front door.
