The views from each apartment are stunning, with panoramic vistas over Princes Street (the main street of Edinburgh) and historic buildings such as the Scott Monument, the Royal Scottish Academy Museum and the National Gallery of Scotland. The views extend beyond the New Town of Edinburgh, across the estuary of the Firth of Forth and onward to the Kingdom of Fife.
The location could not be more central - just 2 minutes on foot from the historic Royal Mile in one direction and from Princes Street in the other. The apartments are ideally placed for walking around the city centre's excellent variety of theatres, restaurants and bars. Edinburgh Castle, the galleries, museums, Princes Street gardens and the extensive range of shops are all easily accessible.
Should you need to take public transport it is all on your doorstep. Waverley train station, tour busses and adjacent secure parking are all within a few minutes walk. Remember there is a service lift to every floor and being on the 8th floor you will enjoy city centre living without city centre noise.
The accommodation has recently been completely upgraded (June 2007 - new web-site under construction). The apartments are in a boutique luxury style. They sleep two to four people making this flexible living arrangement suitable for couples of all ages, small groups of friends and families. A party of 8 people might take both of our apartments which sit side by side.
Enjoy a bright living area with large windows opening out over the capital city. The well-equipped kitchen area provides you with all you need from mixing a G&T to cooking a three course meal. Stylish but home-from-home, the brand new shower/bathrooms provide 24 hour hot water, clean lines and romantic relaxation. You have use of digital television, DVD/CD player.
Please enquire if requiring WI-FI. This category A-listed 18th century building on the Mound in Edinburgh's Old Town, has architectural significance and is within the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is thought that David Hume, the renowned Scottish philosopher, lodged here. No doubt the house's superb outlook proved inspiring - may you be inspired too!
