Bring your fishing rods along for either beach casting or for fresh water fishing in a nearby lake.

The lounge is comfortable and tastefully decorated, and equipped with Television, DVD Player, Sky Satellite, and coal effect Calor gas fire(no need for stoking or cleaning!), perfect for relaxing in. Leading off from the lounge is a spacious, airy Conservatory, which leads directly on to the front lawn.

Large king sized bedded room with ample storage space and views over farmland.

Adjacent to bedroom number 1 is a bathroom with extra large bath, W.C and wash hand basin.

Large Twin bedded room with ample wardrobe space.
There are many activities and attractions around the area which include:- The Mull of Galloway the most southerly point in Scotland with the Lighthouse, Bird Sanctuary run by the R.S.P.B. Visitor Centre and the innovative Gallie Craig cafe. Some of the sea birds that can be seen throughout the summer include. Guillemot's, Kittiwakes, Fulmars and a few Puffins making our regions largest sea bird colony.
The history of the area has to include Kirkmadrine Stones, Castle Clanyard and Kirk Covenant of Kirkmaiden old parish Church. Other places of interest are Port Logan (The Home of the TV series 2000 acres of Sky) Sandhead with its sandy beach and view over looking Luce Bay. Ardwell gardens, Logan Botanical Gardens as well as Logan Victorian Fish Pond.
The wild life in Southwest Scotland includes the seals at Luce Bay off the coast at Ardwell. Birds of pray such as buzzards, Kestrels and Owls are commonplace. Deer can sometimes be observed as well as badgers and at the old brick works there is a Wild Boar farm.
Activities include trout fishing in the near by loch, Trekking and horse riding. The South Rhins can boast some of the best walking and cycling areas in the district. There are four golf courses within 20 minutes drive and four pubs and a cafe within a reasonable walk or few minutes drive all serving good food. There are frequent daily ferry crossings from Stranraer to Belfast or Cairnryan to Larne run by Stena & P.& O. ferries.
