The Valley of a Thousand Hills is situated on our Door Step where you can take a trip into the past visiting a traditional Zulu village, purchase a unique African gift, tee off on any one of the many beautiful Golf Courses, shop in modern Shopping Malls, or just watch the African Sunset with a glass of fabulous South African Wine. Culinary delights can be enjoyed at one of many local restaurants.

We are located in a peaceful suburb 5 minutes away from Central Hillcrest, 35 km from Durban International Airport, 30 km to Durban City Centre, 45 km to Pietermaritzburg, the Capital of Kwa-Zulu Natal. 30 km to Golden Beaches.

Our luxury loft apartment is fully equipped with a queen bed, bathroom with shower en suite, six seater dining suite, crockery and cutlery, fridge/freezer, stove, a microwave oven, air conditioning/heating, large balcony with a 4 seater dining table, gas BBQ and hammock. Also available we have wireless ADSL internet, satellite TV, DVD, hairdryer and built in safe. There is a relaxing view of the lovely garden and pool area from the balcony.

The executive one bedroom apartment is also fully equipped with a double bed, bathroom with shower en Suite, 2 seater dining suite, crockery and cutlery, fridge/freezer, stove, a microwave oven, air conditioning/heating, ceiling fan in bedroom, patio with 2 seat table, gas BBQ. Also available we have wireless ADSL internet, satellite TV, DVD, hairdryer and built in safe. Situated right next to the pool and our large thatched lapa.

Our large guest suite has two single beds, which can be converted to a king bed, fridge, coffee maker and kettle, ceiling fan, satellite TV, DVD, air-conditioning/heating, wireless ADSL internet, hairdryer and built in safe. It opens onto our lovely garden and is located close to our comfortable paved patio with rustic table, benches and gas BBQ. The pool and thatched lapa are a step away from your door.
GOLF - There are numerous First Class Golf Courses in the area to test your skills. The closest one to us is the Kloof Country Club, which is only 10 minutes away from Like Home.

GAME VIEWING - Kwa-Zulu Natal has some of the finest Game Parks in the World, including the oldest Game Reserve in Africa, Hluhluwe Imfolozi, which is a 3 hour drive from Like Home. Go on Safari and see the Big 5 live. Smaller Game Farms like Tala are just 30 minutes away, where you can see numerous species of game including Buffalo, Rhino, Giraffe, Impala and Wildebees.

CULTURAL - The Valley of a Thousand Hills a cultural experience is not to be missed. See a traditional Zulu Village, Shop at the numerous Craft Markets, Enjoy the wonderful scenery.

BEACHES - Just 20 minutes away are Durban famed Golden Beaches where you can soak up the African Sun, Surf the great waves or go Deep Sea Fishing.
NIGHT LIFE - Durban and Surrounds have an eclectic night life, from Stunning Restaurants to Magical Theatres and Coffee Bars.
