Collie Farmhouse
A traditional Scottish farmhouse refurbished to a high standard, enjoying a peaceful location the banks of the River Spey. It makes a fantastic base to explore the Whisky and Castle Trails and enjoy the many sporting opportunities available in the area.
Within an area of natural beauty and scientific interest, Collie is ideal for large groups, whether seeking to simply escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life or looking to participate in all the activities Scotland has to offer.
You can take boat trips from many of the coastal harbours to see the famous Moray Firth Dolphins and go pony trekking along the sandy beaches.
The nearby Grampian and Cairngorm Mountains offer numerous outdoor activities for walking, mountaineering and skiing during the winter months. More locally, you can walk or cycle along the Speyside Way - an ideal opportunity to see local birds and wildlife in a tranquil setting along the riverbank.
For the sporting enthusiast, shooting, stalking and fishing are all available locally.
There are numerous golf courses nearby offering a range of terrain's to challenge your game. After a hard days sport, a wee dram of Malt Whisky produced by one of the many local distilleries is well worth sampling. Distillery tours are popular and are offered all year round and for a historical experience a visit to one of the many castles in the area is a must.
Collie is let on a weekly basis throughout the year. All fuel, electricity and linen is included. The services of the housekeeper are provided for 3 hours per day also.
