Pebblebeach Cottage is a beautifully presented spacious cottage, located close to the south end of Aldeburgh High Street and beach.

The cottage has recently been refreshed and updated to feature fabrics produced by the owners' business St. Jude's and nature-inspired artworks from their associated gallery.

Accommodation

Ground floor: Living room with multi-fuel stove, Sony flat screen TV, DVD and Tivoli CD player, large fitted kitchen/diner with Smeg range cooker, stainless steel fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

First floor: 2 bedrooms (one with king size bed and views towards Orford, one with a single bed), bathroom (bath with shower over, wc, hand basin).

Outside: Gardens to front and rear with patio furniture and off-road parking for one car.

Aldeburgh & Around

Pebblebeach is located on Park Road, just off the south end of Aldeburgh High Street. The beach and Aldeburgh shops, pubs and restaurants are just a short stroll way.

Around 2 hours from London, Aldeburgh is a small, unspoilt and stylish coastal town where you can still buy fresh fish from the fishermen's huts on the beach.

Aldeburgh's shops and restaurants are well known in the area and the town is definitely worth visiting. There are lots of interesting independent shops, some excellent restaurants, cafés, takeaways, art galleries, an old-style cinema, small supermarket, bookshop and inviting pubs serving local Adnams bitter, not to forget the famous fish & chip shops.

You may just wish to unwind and relax, but there is plenty to see and do in the area.

If you're looking for exercise, there are some great walks and cycle routes along beaches, rivers, woodland and heaths. Our favourite walks include along the river estuary between Walberswick and Southwold (passing a good pub) and a woodland walk near the RSPB reserve at Minsmere.

More leisurely activities include boat trips on the River Alde, BBQs on the beach, a round of golf at Aldeburgh Golf Club, or visits to the English Heritage castles at Orford and Framlingham.
