Not many holiday cottages in Scotland are this accommodating! Upstairs is tastefully furnished to a very high standard with an additional kid's playroom or den. The gardens are enclosed and child friendly and, although no pets are allowed in the cottage, we can arrange a kennel and even stable facilities on the farm.
Cowden farm itself is a fully working farm with mixed arable and some livestock. The location is very rural and peaceful. You will see many birds and other wildlife around the farm including Barn owls, Peregrine falcons, yellowhammers, goldfinches, curlew, wheatears, and lapwings. Roe deer, brown hares and even otters are frequently seen around although you may have to be up early!
