Rhowniar Country House Self Catering Sleeps 14

Accommodation is spacious and the house can sleep up to 14 people. There are three double en suite bedrooms, two double bedrooms, two twin bunk rooms and two bathrooms. With ample space for everyone throughout, there are sitting rooms, a study, a dining room, kitchen, snooker room, garden room and spacious halls and landings.

The kitchen is fitted with a modern electric and gas cooker range, dishwasher and washing machine.

The Grounds
A large drying room is available in the yard for those wet suits, sailing gear, buckets and spades etc. There is plenty of space for cars, trailers and water sports equipment.

The house is set in woodlands and has terraced lawned gardens to the front.

A stream runs through part of the woods and unusual water garden plants and trees can be seen along side.

Visitors are free to enjoy the woodland and garden areas but are asked to respect the wildlife and dogs should be kept under control.

Location
Rhowniar is well situated for the nearby sandy beaches at Aberdovey and Tywyn, which is also the home of the famous Tal-y-llyn narrow gauge railway. Also nearby is the beautiful Dovey valley, the Dysyni valley with broad water and Bird Rock.

Rhowniar Country House is a large self catering property located near Aberdovey in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. Occupying an elevated position commanding uninterrupted views of the Cardigan Bay Coast and surrounding countryside. The accommodation has been awarded 4 stars by the Wales Tourist Board.

Formerly an outward bound girls school, the house has recently undergone a major refurbishment with careful consideration awarded to retaining the original features. Rhowniar oozes character and charm with its restored timber flooring & panelling and grand proportions.

Living Accommodation
There is plenty of space for everyone at Rhowniar. There are sitting rooms, a study, a dining room, kitchen, snooker room, garden room and spacious halls and landings. Children particularly enjoy the purpose built snooker room accessed from the upstairs landing across the hallway above the arched courtyard entrance. This is a safe place for children to play and can be used to give the grown ups a bit of a break too!

The kitchen is fitted with a modern electric and gas cooker range, dishwasher and washing machine. As you will be on holiday we also have a list of places to eat out in Aberdovey!

Set in 12 acres of grounds and approached by a private drive, away from the main road Rhowniar provides ideal accommodation for families with children or for groups looking to kick back and relax after a full day of activities. There are terraced lawns to the front of the house and plenty of room to take a stroll or for the kids to run around. There are fantastic sea and countryside views that stretch for miles.
