Willow Bank Holiday Cottage

Willow Bank is a self contained, self catering, ground floor accommodation for 2 to 4 persons. Ample private parking adjacent for 2 cars, (even parking for a boat and trailer), use of 1 acre of grounds with stream and summerhouse with BBQ. The accommodation is centrally heated and is provided with bed linen, towels, tea towels, and gas fire at no additional cost.

It is situated in a pretty Peak District village approx. 3 miles from the historic market town of Ashbourne. The village has a Saxon Church and the village public house which serves food at lunchtime and evenings. There are beautiful walks directly from the house and there is a comprehensive library of walking books and magazines..

Willow Bank is suitable for the less able also we are available most of the time should you require any assistance or advice. The garden is ramped and easy to
wander around or just sit. CHILDREN (5&) love our two tortoise (Tim & Ben), cat (Pippin) and next doors farm dog (a border collie called Lady).

Non of these will enter your accommodation. Fresh flowers are always in the accommodation unless you request otherwise. The nearest shops are 15 minutes away in Ashbourne. Local butchers green grocers, delicatessen, health food shop, Somerfield, Sainsburys (not 24 hours), Co-Op, post office, Doctor Dentist, petrol stations, garage, Banks, ATM, Chemists, bakers, gift and clothes shops, Tourist Information Office, takeaways (some will deliver to Willow Bank) and restaurants and pubs (I have menus for those we have tried). Market day Thursday and Saturday. Or just sit and have your meals outside and watch the sunsets or a wander down to our local Pub the Red Lion.

There are wonderful walks from the house and a bus service if you don't feel like driving. Nearby Alton Towers, Chatsworth, lots of National Trust properties, Dovedale, Buxton, Bakewell etc.

Bedding, linen and towels, heating and electricity are all included. Children (over 5 years) welcome, sorry no pets and no smoking. All rooms overlook the gardens, giving beautiful views all-round. The gardens are equipped with a patio set and BBQ. On arrival you will find bread, butter, milk, tea coffee cereal etc for your first night.
