As you are in Central Scotland you are 35 minutes from Glasgow, 40 minutes from Edinburgh and less than 20 minutes from Stirling; where you can visit Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and Bannockburn; site of the famous battle where the Scots commanded by Robert the Bruce fought the English commanded by Edward the Second.
