Take a break at our centrally heated self-catering (vacation rental) holiday property, The Lodge, at Minard Castle beside Loch Fyne in Argyll on the beautiful west coast of Scotland. Set in the extensive grounds of our Scottish Castle, this holiday accommodation makes an ideal base for touring this scenic part of Argyll with its gardens, castles, archaeological sites and visitor attractions; or just provides a peaceful location for a quiet break.

The Lodge at Minard Castle sleeps up to six people, and is a comfortable bungalow with a view through trees to Loch Fyne. It has a double bedroom, twin bedroom, living room (two folding single beds also provided), kitchen and bathroom (with shower over the bath). There is ample parking space, and a small private garden with table and chairs - in addition to the castle grounds, in which our self-catering guests are welcome.

Central heating and hot water are included in the price. Cooking and lighting are by electricity which is charged extra (slot meter, £1 coins). Equipment includes a cooker with oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, automatic washer-dryer, colour television (4 terrestrial channels), pay-phone, and towels and linen.

The price of The Lodge ranges from £150 to £370 per week, varying according to date.

Minard Castle Self-Catering accommodation is open all year.

Short breaks are sometimes available from October to April.

Smoking is permitted in our self-catering property. Children are welcome. We may at our discretion accept pets in our self-catering accommodation if we are satisfied there will be no problems!
