Le terrazze Bed & breakfast is settled in the old town centre of Bisceglie and overlooks the picturesque little seaport. The house dates back to the Middle Age and has been recently restored and renovated with very fine taste. The building on four levels and the excellent disposition of the living-space guarantee great comfort and absolute privacy.
The rooms, all with bathroom, are furnished with antique, beautiful and functionalpiecesas well as the ample breakfast all. The wonderful terraces with a fine view over the sea, that gives the name to the bed & breakfast, is at disposal of the kind guests for breakfast and to witnesst he beauty of amazing summer sunsets along with the natural spectacle of Tramontana and the lively fire-works typical of patronal folk feasts.
'Le terrazze welcomes its guests in a medieval building finely restored, arranged in four levels easily reachable by lift. Our five bedrooms, all with private bathroom, are finely furnished with antique furniture. And it is the same for our wide breakfast hall. Some rooms are particularly enchanting because of their wooden attic and characteristic ancient stonewall. Very precious is our wonderful terrace, which overlooks the little harbor and the ancient town. A delightful green environment surrounds it.

Bisceglie is located on the Adriatic coast, 35 km north from Bari.
The town has medieval origins and it flourished under the Swabian, (Anjoin) and Aragonese peoples.
Among the most interesting monuments of the town we can see the Cathedral, built between 1073 and 1295 and located in the historical center, the Norman Castle with its powerful quadrangular towers, the Santa Margherita‚s Church, treasure of the Romanic architecture of Apulia, the Via Traiana‚s Milestone located in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, in the city center. It‚s very interesting to visit also the Town Archaeological Museum, which preserves a very wide variety of prehistorical finds and the Sea Museum close to it and recently established.

The country of Bisceglie allows the tourist to reach historical places such as Santa Croce's Caves, inhabited from the middle Paleolithic to the Bronze Age, the two Dolmens, La Chianca and Frisari, megalithic graves of the Bronze Age and numerous farmhouses of the Middle Age.

As a seaside town, Bisceglie obtained this year the EU Blue Flag for the beaches of Salsello and Scalette-anfiteatro, situated along the west coast, which has a lot of touristic structures that liven up above all the nights in the town.

The east coast still preserves natural, uncontaminated characteristics.
Among the numerous summer events, the most remarkable are the Festival of Mediterranean Peoples, where Italian and stranger artists take part and the traditional Three Patron Saint's Feast, which take place during the second week of August and finishes with spectacular fireworks.

Bisceglie's strategic position and its good road and rail system allows the tourist to visit towns such as Trani art town with his splendid Cathedral, Ruvo with its Cathedral, Jatta Museum and Talos Festival, Giovinazzo with its characteristic historical center and the Dolmen S. Silvestro, Molfetta with its Pulo, Barletta and the Mount of Canne della Battaglia.
It is also easy to reach Castel del Monte, near Andria, Valle d'Itria, Castellana Grotte and Alberobello
