Situated by the sea in a sheltered harbour and just a few steps from the gently sloping beach in the coastal village of Kinghorn on the clement Fife coast, with excellent transport links to St Andrews, Edinburgh & the Highland this truly unique property will always impress even the most discerning visitor.
This ancient sea-front salmon fisherman's bothy has been doubled in size and totally redesigned to maximise the views over the bay by local architects 'Sinclair Watt' into a unique, contemporary open plan beach front villa with fabulous sea views across the sea toward Edinburgh, the Inchkeith lighthouse island and the Bass rocks.
The property now has all the stylish conveniences that the modern traveller would expect from a first class accommodation. The full size integrated kitchen has excellent freedom of movement and is fitted out with everything you will need to self-cater.
The bathroom and separate shower rooms are both fully tiled each with heated towel rails. All towels and hotel quality linen including complimentary luxury toiletries are provided for your convenience.
The uninterrupted views from all the huge windows are quite breathtaking as you look out over the sheltered bay towards the Inchkeith lighthouse island and on into Edinburgh.
There is a quaint little railway station up in the village and for a few pounds off peak, you can travel stress free across the famous Forth rail Bridge into the heart of Edinburgh where you can visit the ancient castle, the modern parliament building or the giant Panda's at zoo. You can shop around in all the top shops and department stores including Harvey Nichols or just chill out among the trendy wine bars, cafes and restaurants.
It's a great way to discover the delights of the Edinburgh international festival with many great street musicians and acts or the military tattoo, you can also travel north to explore the home of golf at St Andrews, Dundee, Perth and up to the Highlands to discover the 'whiskey trail' with all the famous distilleries.
