Pretty Lochside Cottage near Glencoe
Stunningly beautiful area, this small white, terraced, 19th century cottage is very pretty and overlooks the bay. It has been our much-loved family holiday home for 18 years. It sleeps 4. Recently refurbished and equipped to a high standard. Very warm with storage heaters, double-glazing.

This is the playground of Britain. Glencoe 4 miles stacks of history - the Massacre was six miles away, old castles all around. In 35 mins you can reach the gondolas and lifts to walk the mountaintops at the Glencoe ski centre and at Aonach Mhor. There are 20 walks nearby. You can do eight Munros in a week and still have days off. Start with the two behind the house. Wonderful beaches. Wild life outside the door with herons in the bay, seals up the loch, deer in the Glen, buzzards round the woods. Fishing within yards, sailing trips, cruising on big boats to the Inner Hebrides or small boats on the loch, climbing, new golf course ten minutes away (borrow our clubs if you want - try out golf for the first time) riding, all close by.
There is a world famous, friendly Inn in Glencoe serving pub meals. One star Michelin restaurant within five minutes drive. Fort William 30 mins with townie things for youngsters to do, large swimming pool, leisure centre and Ben Nevis around the corner.
2 d/bedrooms plus extra sofa beds if you don't mind acute discomfort from overcrowding. Lounge/diner, television, DVD and VCR, kitchen, with washing machine, fridge and freezer, cooker and microwave, and a tumble dryer in the drying room, small bathroom with a sit-in bath and shower. Bicycle store. Shop 2 miles. Don't cook every night, walk to a brilliant restaurant a few hundred yards away. Occasional horizontal rain.
Really sorry, but we do not allow smoking, or pets. Please see our website.
Reviews & Customer Feedback
We arrived at the cosy welcoming cottage at night, and in the morning opened the curtains to the most amazing view of mountains and loch. The cottage is very pretty and well equipped. It has lots of information and the owners are very helpful. The area had so many things to do we were spoilt for choice. We look forward to coming back again soon. ...
