Sinnington Common Farm

Sinnington Common Farm is a working family farm with 135 acres. The cottages have been sympathetically converted from farm buildings but most of the original buildings have been retained and are still used for farming purposes. Some of the buildings are up to 300 years old and swallows return to them each year flying in and out of the buildings all summer long. The farm is set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors in Ryedale.

Our many farmyard animals include goats (with kids in the summer), poultry, cattle(including a pet Dexter), ponies and horses (including a shire horse and coloured horses), donkey, pot-bellied pigs, friendly farm cats, ewes and lambs (pet lambs to feed at certain times of the year) and Max the hyper dog. Many are rescue animals and guests are welcome to interact with them.

You are welcome to bring your pet and we have a picturesque farm walk with wildlife to see including foxes, hares, deer, curlews, partridge, skylarks, lapwings, heron and pheasants. The farm has an environmental friendly policy to encourage wildlife and our animals graze happily on land free from chemical fertilisers and sprays.

The one bedroomed cottages have bathroom with bath & shower, bedroom with fitted wardrobe, clock radio choice of twin or double bed. The sitting room/dining area is furnished in pine and cane (tv & dvd) and there is a fully equipped kitchen. Both cottages have gas central heating, off street parking and garden furniture. Prices from £135 - £230 including linen, towels, heating etc. No charge for pets.

The two bedroomed luxury bungalow sleeps up to 6 and has a large kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, dining area. The master bedroom has a double bed, ensuite bathroom (with shower) and spectacular views. The second bedroom has a two single beds converting to a super king-size bed and has a bathroom with bath/shower over. The large sitting room has a dining area and spectacular views. There is gas central heating. Outside there is a large private garden with barbeque and garden furniture. The property is adjacent to the farm.
