Carrack Dhu
A luxury, South-facing ground floor apartment in a Victorian house with many original features retained in this newly renovated flat.
Just a 3 minute stroll to the Harbour and Tate Gallery, sleeping 2-4, with private sunny garden. Features gas central heating, roll-top bath, walk-in shower, TV, DVD, CD stereo system.
The location is perfect - close to all the attractions of St. Ives, but on a desirable and quiet residential street with amazing sea views.
St.Ives has a history as a fishing village and still has a working harbour, but is now famous world-wide for it's artistic community attracted to here by the beautiful natural environment and stunning quality of light.
The town itself is compact and virtually unspoilt, having shops that can provide for all your needs, as well as a cinema, theatre and of course a menagerie of quality restaurants and pubs. Vegetarians and Vegans and those with special dietary requirements are also well catered for - please ask us about meals at our Guest House, Making Waves.
Further a field, St. Ives is well placed as a base to visit such attractions as St. Michaels Mount, Eden Project, Lands End as well as the miles of unspoilt coastline awaiting exploration. Walking from St. Ives, you can visit the tiny village of Zennor, or head south to Carbis Bay, and the Hayle Estuary, which features 3 miles of golden sands.
Inland, a visit to Knills Monument will offer you wonderful views over the bay and beyond. From here, you can pick up the historic Michael Way, a walk that takes you across the peninsula to Marazion.
