One minute from Burghley Park, 10 minutes from Rutland Water, which is home to the famous Rutland Belle boat which can take you for a sail on the reservoir. Rutland Water also offer cycle hire and a the ride around the water is about 20 miles and is great fun for all the family, Whitwell is location for cycle hire. Twenty minutes from Rockingham Castle or race track. Walking distance of town centre.

Christmas lets include decorations and open fire, and yes its a real tree grown at Jane and Andrews home.

A welcome food pack can be ordered so if arriing late you dont need to visit the local supermarket.

Owners Jane and Andrew will welcome you, and give you a quick guided tour to allow you to settle in as quicky as possible and they are always on hand should you require any help during your stay.

If you dont want to stay in Stamford Jane and Andrew can offer you self catering accomodation in Nassington ( 8 miles south of Stamford). Purpose built stone cottages each sleeping 6, one ready August 06 and two more ready early 07. These have ground floor bedroom ( plus two more on first floor) and ground floor bathroom including wet area so are ideal for visitors needing easy access, again pets welcome and stabling is available, also indoor swimming pool.
