Grange Farm Holiday Cottages

We have two one bedroom comfortably furnished cottages, Stable Cottage and Rose Cottage, waiting for you to enjoy a peaceful break in the beautiful largely unspoilt hidden countryside of East Yorkshire.

With gentle hills, picturesque villages (and pubs) and lively market towns; the area is great for walkers, ramblers and cycling, a visit to the Moors is a short drive away, and/or to the Coast with its breathtaking scenery stretching from Flamborough head to the Humber Estuary, or a visit to the historic city of York, one of Britain's premier destinations with its history going back to Roman and Viking times.

The City's ancient architecture is superbly preserved and includes York Minster, the largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe, the extensive City Walls date back to the 13th century. York is packed with attractions such as Yorvic Viking centre, York Dungeon and the National Railway museum, why not take a leisurely boat trip on the River Ouse, a ghost trip or simply pleasure. You will also find excellent shopping with many good restaurants and bars.

There are many other attractions including Eden Camp and many Historic Country Houses

Our cottages are situated on a farm where we keep horses and have a small livery yard (indeed, if you have a horse you could bring it with you too)

The cottages were tastefully converted from former stables a few years ago and are comfortably furnished to a high standard, and we have covered parking for your vehicle.

Stable Cottage features a 'zip and link' double bed that can be adjusted to two singles to suit your requirement, and a double sofa bed in the spacious open plan living room with fully fitted kitchen area, there is access to a Sitting out area to enjoy the immense view. There is a walk in shower/wet room

Rose cottage has a large double bedroom in which a cot (supplied if required) can easily be fitted and a double sofa bed in the spacious living/dining area with adjacent fully fitted kitchen area. Rose cottage has a separate bathroom with electric shower over the bath. There is access to a Sitting out area to enjoy the panoramic view and glorious sunrise if you wish to rise early.

We welcome short breaks, your well-behaved pet and child are most welcome too.

We provide a bottle of wine to our guests with our compliments, together with a warm welcome.
