Our location makes us the ideal place to stay if you wish to explore this as yet unspoilt region. Within easy reach are Glengarriff, Bantry, Kenmare, Castletownbere, Allihies, Ardgroom & Eyeries. Not forgetting Bere Island & Dursey Island - serviced by Irelands only cable car.
Beara is a paradise for those who love the great outdoors.
Activities such as Walking, sailing, cycling, diving, golf, angling, horse-riding etc., its all here waiting for you. If you need more info on any aspect then just email us and we'll be glad to provide it.
The Beara Peninsula is undoubtedly the most beautiful and undiscovered of the five finger like peninsulas that stretch out from the South-West corner of Ireland into the Atlantic Ocean. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty with rugged coastlines, sheltered harbours, shimmering lakes, soaring mountains, brightly painted villages and so much more.
For those in West Cork vacation or walking the Beara Way Walking Route we are the perfect place to stay as we are located midway between Glengarriff and Castletownbere. The recently opened Beara Cycling Route also passes right by us!
The stunningly beautiful Caha mountains, which crowd around Adrigole Harbour, offer fantastic hill-walking opportunities at all grades. Climb magnificent Hungry Hill ( 685 metres ), discover the hidden Lakes of Coomarkane and Coomadavallig ,and wonder at the Mares Tail Waterfall, the highest in Ireland.
Other nearby attractions include the Tim Healy Pass that meanders over the mountains into South Kerry
Whilst in Adrigole why not take advantage of the crystal clear waters of Bantry Bay. Learn to sail, go angling or just take a dip - its all here for you to enjoy!
