Tegfryn Holidays
Tegfryn is a cosy cottage with 3 bedrooms that sleeps 4, a cot can also be provided if required. It is over 150 years old and conveniently situated in the small historic market town of Tregaron that nestles at the foot of the Cambrian Mountains.
The cottage has been sensitively refurbished retaining some of the beamed ceilings and the original stone walls.
The accommodation comprises of Living Room, Breakfast Room, Kitchen (with electric cooker, microwave, and fridge), 1 Double Bedroom, 2 Single Bedrooms and a Bathroom. In the Living room there is a colour TV, Video Recorder and a CD/Radio/Cassette.
There are electric heaters in all rooms and an open fire in the breakfast room. Coal and logs are provided for the open fire and the cost of all electricity is included in the price. All bed linen is provided except for the cot. You only need to bring your own towels with you.
There is an enclosed back garden with garden furniture and a barbeque.
The river Brenig runs behind the property and is a site of special scientific interest.
Pets are very welcome but please can they bring their own beds with them and stay off the furniture. They must never be left alone in the cottage.
We would be very grateful if you would not smoke inside the cottage.
The whole area is a paradise for walkers, bird and wildlife watchers and anglers with the Cors Caron Nature Reserve being immediately outside the town and the Red Kite Centre being only 5 minutes walk from the cottage.
Tregaron is approximately 18 miles from the lively seaside University town of Aberystwyth where there is a Theatre, nightclubs, Restaurants, the famous Devils Bridge narrow gauge railway, a Marina and 2 beaches.
15 miles away is the popular Georgian coastal town of Aberaeron with its picturesque harbour and Craft Centre.
