Self catering bungalow sleeping up to 6 with spectacular sea and mountain views in the Outer Hebrides (Western Isles).

This is a superbly situated self catering cottage, overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches on the west coast of the Isle of Harris. The 9-hole golf course at Scarista is in front of the house.

Sandview Cottage can sleep up to 6 adults and comprises:
1 twin bedroom
2 double bedrooms
Lounge with TV, VCR/DVD, CD player
Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher
Bathroom with shower

Sandview Cottage is ideally situated for a relaxing holiday - whether you wish to explore the sandy beaches all along the west coast of Harris, play a round of golf or take a walk on the machair.

It is just a short drive to Northton (Seallam! visitor centre and guided walks) and Leverburgh (shops and ferry to Berneray / North Uist). Visitors to South Harris may also enjoy a trip to the historic church at Rodel.

Tarbert (the main town on Harris) is 15 miles away (shops and ferry to Skye).
Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis is 50 miles to the north (shops and ferry to Ullapool on the mainland).

Harris is a beautiful island of contrasts with spectacular scenery and a unique, unspoilt atmosphere. In the west are vast expanses of white sand whilst the north and east are rugged, rocky places. Boat trips to the isles of Taransay and St Kilda are possible.
To the north lies the Isle of Lewis with its famous Callanish standing stones.
