Wee Silverburn
This delightful and comfortable white-washed cottage sits in a peaceful location overlooking the Firth of Clyde. It has been tastefully refurbished and provides an ideal base, whether you are looking for a family holiday, a relaxing break or an action packed vacation.
An 18 hole golf course is on the doorstep and a 5 minute walk downhill takes you to the centre of the village and sandy beach. The village has a newsagent, grocers and gift shops, a Post Office and a choice of restaurants. There is a putting green and a bowling green.
The island is called 'Scotland in Miniature' and offers fantastic scenery, flora and fauna as well as many sporting opportunities and lovely walks.
The living/dining room has an open fire although there is oilfired central heating and TV.
The lounge has another TV and DVD player, music system and electric fire.
The Bathroom has a huge bath and a shower over the bath.
The kitchen is fully fitted with electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster. While the utility room has the washing machine, tumble drier and freezer.
Up the spiral staircase there are three bedrooms. 1 double bedroom and 2 single rooms, (access to the third room is via the second), which convert to twin rooms if required (with roll under beds of the same height).
The sun porch is the ideal place to start the day, while in the evening you could have a barbecue and sit outside in the garden. A basket of logs, a bucket of coal, electricity and bed linen are included in the rent but please bring your own towels.
