Ingleborough Cottages, nestled on Ingleborough’s slopes offer a warm and cosy home from home. Located in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the cottages offer the perfect self catering accommodation for exploring the Dales, Lake District, Forest of Bowland and Lancashire coast.
Situated on the edge of the Dales National Park and dating from the early 1800's the recently refurbished Old Laundry offers superb accommodation. It is an ideal retreat for couples, families and small groups. The cottage sleeps 4 people in 3 bedrooms with an additional sofa bed.
Little Storrs is a one bedroom Victorian apartment forming part of a larger residence. It is on split levels sleeping 2. Little Storrs is in an excellent location with walking from the door and ideal for dog owners.
Both properties are well equipped and furnished. They have full gas central heating with The Old Laundry having a wood burning stove in the sitting room.
The cottages have off street parking, secure bike storage and use of gardens.
Fuel, linen and towels are all included in the price.
The cottages are a five minute walk from the picturesque village of Ingleton which has a wide selection of shops and cafes along with an outdoor seasonal swimming pool, indoor climbing wall and excellent children's playground.
Kendal, Lancaster and Skipton are all within a 45 minute car journey and the southern Lake District is easily accessible for days out.
Closer to home there is much to do. Visit White Scar Caves Britain's longest showcave, Ingleborough Show Cave, Ribblehead Viaduct, Wensleydale Creamery at Hawes and many other visitor attractions. Or why not try your hand at walking The Trhee Peaks of Ingleborugh, Whernside and Penyghent.
Ingleton also boasts a famous waterfalls trail, voted as one of the best woodland walks in Britain.
Both self catering properties have recently been refurbished. They comprise an early 18th Century cottage with 3 bedrooms sleeping four plus a double sofa bed and a 1 bedroom apartment forming part of a large Victorian residence. Having been in the business for over 12 years, we pride ourselves on providing a warm welcome with those personal touches.
The market towns of Settle, Skipton and Kirkby Lonsdale are close by with plenty of walks for all abilities in the local area. Activities available range from gentle walks to cycling, golf, caving, climbing, horse riding and fishing. Ingleton also has its own outdoor heated seasonal swimming pool and fabulous play area with plenty of activities for younger and older children.
A five minute walk from the picturesque Dales village of Ingleton, there is everything provided for your holiday needs.
