A 5 minute walk takes you to Fontwell Park, traditionally a horse racing course, but which also holds weekly events.

There is also the cosmopolitan city of Brighton just 45 minutes East of Slindon, or 40 minutes from the historic dockyard of Portsmouth.

Opposite the gated entrance of the accommodation is the National Park of Slindon wood.

The local walks in the South Downs are endless, and the peace and tranqulity of the area are sure to revive.

Southdowns Retreat also includes a private indoor heated swimming pool, double bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen/diner and lovely lounge area. Wi-fi and Sky are also available.
