All furnishings and furniture’s are brand new (March 2011) and of a high standard.
All 4 bedrooms are air-conditioned. There is a triple room, and 2 double rooms upstairs, and a double room downstairs. The house comfortably accommodates 9 adults, or 4 adults & 6 children.
The kitchen has microwave, stove, fridge/freezer, washing machine and all cooking and eating utensils (note that we are pork-free).
The lounge has an LCD TV, satellite TV channels (Astro), DVD player, 7-seater leather sofa set and a luxurious dining set. Additionally, there is a kid’s corner upstairs with toys, colouring things and books.
The garden is pretty, and great for relaxing, plus there are 3 very nice playgrounds within 3 minutes walk of the house.
We provide all bed linens, bath towels, kitchen towels, basic toiletries and tea/coffee/sugar/creamer.
For longer stays of 5 days and above we also provide a starter pack of foodstuffs (bread, butter, eggs, milk etc), exclusive use of a private swimming pool nearby with refreshments, and loan of several bicycles for the duration of your stay.
Extra cleaning, cooking and baby-sitting services, as well as home-cooked meal deliveries can be arranged at very reasonable extra cost.
Our rates are RM300 (US$98) per weekday night and RM350 (US$115) per weekend night, eve of public holidays and Malaysian school holidays. Single night stays incur a RM100 cleaning charge. There is additional charge for >10 occupants, at RM30 for additional adult and RM15 for additional child per night, and we will provide the necessary extra bedding.
A security deposit of RM700 (cash) is required at the start of the stay, and is returned at checkout minus any damages (excluding reasonable wear and tear of course!).
50% of the total rental is required to secure a booking, and the remainder is required at check-in.
The house is meticulously cleaned before each stay, and cleaned weekly for stays of more than 1 week.
Check in is at 2pm and checkout at 11am, but we can be flexible depending on whether there is a new group coming in.

We are perfectly located for discovering Malaysia, being 30 minutes from downtown Kuala Lumpur, 5 minutes from the fast NKVE, ELITE and Guthrie highways, and just 15 minutes from the Subang domestic airport, which has frequent and cheap connections to all over Malaysia and southern Thailand.
Here are some great places to visit, and their distances from our house.
Within 20 minutes drive:
- National Botanic Garden Shah Alam, an exciting 817 hectare forest park with lakes, climbing (SkyTrex), mountain biking, 4 seasons house etc.
- 4 awesome, huge shopping malls (One Utama, Megamall, The Curve, Sunway Pyramid) each with hundreds of shops and restaurants, as well as a cinema.
- Sunway Lagoon wet and dry theme parks
- Spas and restaurants for wonderful massages and great food – we will recommend our favourites!
- Archery, horseback riding and bowling at nearby recreation clubs
- Many international-standard golf courses (Glenmarie, Monterrez, Saujana, Subang, KLGCC etc)
Within 30 minutes drive:
- Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC) and the Petrosains centre
- Putrajaya, Malaysia’s beautiful administrative capital, a must for architectural enthusiasts
- The Lake Gardens
- Historical and cultural downtown KL
- The KL Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC) and other cultural centres
Within 1 hour drive:
- Genting Highlands (casino, theme parks, international shows)
- Bukit Tinggi and Colmar Tropicale
- Kuala Selangor fireflies
Within 2 hours drive:
- Historic city of Malacca, a Unesco World Heritage Site
- The Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary
- Whitewater rafting in Perak
- Ipoh’s cave temples
- Port Dickson beaches and resorts
- Frasers Hill highland retreat
- A Famosa water theme park
We also recommend overnight trips (3 to 4 hours drive one way) to:
- Historic Penang Island, a Unesco World Heritage Site and a melting pot of the Malay, Chinese and Indian cultures which makes Malaysia unique
- Taman Negara (massive reserve of the world’s oldest rainforest)
- Beautiful beaches of the East Coast including Cherating
- Cameron Highlands and the tea plantations
- Pangkor Island
- Singapore (yes, you can drive to Singapore in 4 hours on the fast, well-maintained PLUS highway)
We also highly recommend Fireflyz flights from the Subang domestic airport, to the beautiful island paradises of Redang, Perhentian and Tioman as well as to Koh Samui and Phuket in Thailand. You can also fly to East Malaysia (on Borneo Island) to climb Mt Kinabalu, visit the Mulu and Niah Caves, experience pristine rainforest and rivers, encounter indigenous tribes and orang-utans and sightsee the quaint towns of Kota Kinabalu and Kuching. The airport is just 15 minutes away, flights are all 1 to 2 hours in length, are bookable online and so cheap!
