Welcome to our home stay accommodation.

We are a family of four: Stefie and Georges with their two children Ike (15) and Leah (13). Both Stefie and Georges have worked in the hospitality sector in Malta and genuinely love to entertain visitors. Now, Stefie personally cares for the house guests only, while Georges is active as a professional in the wine trade. Logically, an interesting bottle of wine on the dinner table often makes for good conversation.

Facilities
The (pet-free) spacious, non-smoking terraced house on three floors comprises: two well-sized double bedrooms of circa 16 sq meters each for the use of guests, with use of a separate kitchenette for those who would like to do their own cooking, a bathroom and with access to a large sun terrace with barbecue and smoking area. Linen and towels are provided and laundry service is available too. Adult guests may make use of a front door key to 'come and go', ...

The kitchenette is equipped with 4 gas burners, a microwave oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and all necessary pots, pans, utensils and crockery for cooking.

A Wifi internet connection is available in all rooms (at a nominal charge and using your own laptop)

In a Nutshell
Looza is the best 'out-building' accommodation as an alternative to the University Residence. Looza offers ideal short or long term superior accommodation in the immediate vicinity of the university for Erasmus and elective medical clerkship students, student-parents, academics, and visiting professors or lecturers.

The new state of the art national Hospital of Malta 'Mater Dei is also with easy walking distance making our home the ideal base for hospital interns too.

But who said you need to come to Malta to study? Any foreign visitor wishing to discover the Maltese hospitality is welcome to stay at Looza!

The different options for reservation are :
Self-catering basis : No meals are included, guests may make use of the guest kitchenette to prepare their own meals.

Bed and breakfast basis : Continental breakfast is included in this option.

Half Board basis : Breakfast as well as dinner with the family is included from Monday to Friday on the week-ends (Saturday and Sunday) Breakfast is included.

The half board option gives guests the opportunity to practice their English with the family around the dinner table and also to enjoy the various home-made dishes from Stefie's kitchen!
