The Stables Accommodation Alton Towers and Peak District

Our self catering accommodation is only one mile from Alton Towers and is also perfect for walkers wanting to explore Oakamoor, Dimmingsdale, The Roaches and The Peak District. Our family friendly local pub, Ye Olde Star Inn, offers great food, real ales and is just next door.

The Stables accommodation consists of two self contained apartments called The Dell and The Hay Loft. We cater for families and couples alike, and for larger parties both apartments can be let together, providing accommodation for up to 10 people. We aim to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Both properties are well furnished and well presented. We're never far away for advice or directions!

The Dell

The Dell is the ground floor apartment, however there are 6 external steps up to the property. It has two bedrooms, one double and one twin room. The lounge/diner has tv, dvd, freeview, hi-fi stereo and a collection of books and games. The galley style kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher and microwave. The bathroom has a large shower and shaving point. The Dell also has a sofa bed in the lounge. The Dell sleeps 4 &2

Hay Loft

Hay Loft has an external staircase up to the entrance door. A similar layout to The Dell, Hay loft has a lounge diner also with TV, dvd, freeview, hifi, games and books. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin room. Again the kitchen is equipped with cooker, microwave, dishwasher etc and the bathroom has shaver point and large shower. There is no sofa bed in Hay Loft. Hay Loft sleeps 4.

There is a small garden for guests to enjoy and we are currently creating a patio and barbecue area (June 2011) which we hope will be completed soon. The apartments have oil-fired central heating, electric showers and all rental prices are inclusive of utilities. A travel cot is available and both apartments have irons, vacuums etc. Please call us for any further info.
