Woodlands Lodge
Woodland lodge is located in Coalbrookdale and on the edge of the Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge World Heritage site, an area steeped in industrial History and also renowned for its outstanding natural beauty.
Set in the owners private grounds of 2 acres, surrounded by woodland and with elevated southerly views across Coalbrookdale and the valleys beyond, this is the perfect location to get away from it all!!
Aside from exploring the many museums and amazing history of the World Heritage site, the area is hugely popular with walkers and cyclists alike, plus is a convenient base to explore wider Shropshire, its medieval towns, spectacular scenery, historical sites and many National Trust and English heritage properties.
Or if you prefer a less hectic break, then why not just sit back and relax, take in the beautiful scenery, eat in the great local restaurants, and sample fresh locally produced goods, including those from the local brewery!!
The Lodge
A detached and secluded Log Cabin, with stunning southerly views across woodlands and valleys.
The lodge comprises of an open plan living area with open ceiling to the roof, a double bedroom, shower room and an additional mezzanine area with single bed and futon. The living area comfortably seats 4 adults, with separate dining and a modern galley kitchen with built in fridge/freezer, convection oven/microwave oven and 2 hob plates. Both the living area and double bedroom have French doors onto the covered terrace and the views beyond. There is also a private patio area to the side of the lodge with a picnic table, and separate reclining chairs are available.
All Towels and Linen are provided.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
Please note the Mezzanine area is accessed via a steep ladder and is not recommended for children under the age of 8.
A Travel Cot and high chair can be booked.
The lodge is accessed down a steep pathway and is not recommended for people with limited mobility.
