Situated on a quiet, friendly road, the cottage is perfectly located for relaxing and watching the ships sailing the channel or for an exploration of Kent – the garden of England on your door step. Canterbury and all the charming resorts along the south coast such as Whitstable, Rye, Sandwich, Deal, Broadstairs and St Margarets Bay are all within easy reach. One of the best coastal walks in England runs along the bottom of the garden, the cliff top walks from the house are spectacular and there are pubs and cafes within walking distance.

The cottage is comfortable and cosy and sleeps 2– 6 people. It is a detached chalet cottage dating from the 1920’s but fully refurbished with 2 double bedrooms and a twin room, lounge, kitchen / diner, reading room and bathroom. There are beautiful uninterrupted sea views from the lounge, kitchen / diner, bathroom and 2 of the bedrooms as well as direct sea views from the back garden. Sit back on a deckchair with a glass of wine and watch the ever changing colours of the English Channel and on a clear day, you will see as far as the coastline of France.

There is ample parking for 2 cars on the front drive. A general store and local pubs are located in the village within easy walking distance. Or stretch your legs along the cliff top path for a few more minutes to reach the famous Cliff Top Café for tea and cake while gazing at the sea.

Clifftop Cottage offers great value for a truly British holiday with lovely sea views but within easy reach of the continent.
